Floristic Studies of Some Leptosporangiate Ferns of Champaran

ABSTRACT:

Ferns are commonly known as seedless vascular cryptogams or advanced cryptogams. East and west Champaran, two important districts of Bihar are rich in fern flora. During the present study a number of leptosporangite ferns were discovered from ten different places each of these two districts East Champaran and West Chgamparan. Most of these ferns are grown in moist places and few are aquatic.
